Thankfulness Sunday

Sunday 14th September is our Thankfulness Sunday, what would traditionally be called 'Harvest' in many churches. It's the time when we recognise God's goodness and generosity in every area of our lives, and in turn bless others by taking up a special offering, which this year will be will be going to support Compassion UK's project training young people in agriculture, sustainability and business in countries like Togo, equipping them with hands-on skills and empowering them to build more stable futures. Closer to home, we'll also be supporting BBC Food Bank. The team have asked for donations of the following specific, more urgent items:

Tinned Vegetables, Rice Pudding, Custard, Cereals, Instant Coffee, Squash, Jam, Biscuits, Mulitpacks of Crisps, Chocolate, Toilet Rolls, Shampoo, Shower Gel, Adult Toothpaste, Washing up Liquid.
