Outpost Church Services

An outpost (also referred to as a micro-church) is a smaller, flexible way for the church community to gather outside of traditional Sunday services.
They are defined by the following key characteristics:

• Alternative Gatherings: They are "micro-churches" started at different times and in various locations, rather than just inside the main church building.

• Stepping Stones for Faith: They serve as spaces to help people connect with one another at different stages of their personal "Discipleship journey".

• Shared Mission: Despite meeting separately, every outpost shares the exact same core values, mission, and community identity as the main church membership (the "Hub").

• The Behaviour of Church: each outpost has elements of worship, Bible teaching, prayer and mission, though these might look different depending in the context.

Stepping Stones is open to everyone and meets at 10.30am every Thursday morning at the Renew 127 centre (127 Askern road) with some exceptions during school holidays. All you have to do is come along!

The Bessacarr house church outpost meets at different homes on a Sunday afternoon. Because it meets in homes, we don't publish the location, but actively invite people to come along through personal relationships.

An Open Door outpost meets on Tuesdays at Minden Court supported living. Due to it's context, this outpost is only open to residents of Minden court and their guests.
